Payment, Rates & Delivery

Lili collaborates like a member of your own team. She delivers her voice over performances via hightail from her professional voice over iso-booth in Los Angeles, CA. She may also record voice acting sessions from the studio of your choice.

Please note that in order to maintain the quality of her performances, Lili only takes on a limited number of bookings each day and bases her fees on professional standard industry rates. To obtain rates, please forward a copy of your script, and details about usage.

The process

Let’s make sure we are a fit! I always offer a free custom demo (audition) of your script. Before moving forward with recording your voice sample, I will need a copy of the full script in a .doc format (no pdf’s) and planned usage so we may discuss budget and deadlines as well (i.e. national TV, local radio, Internet only, intranet, voicemail, live event, in house, etc.).

Also let me know whether you’d like to direct the voice over session live, and your time zone.

At this point, direction on tone, pacing and accent are helpful.

Once we have agreed on the rate and deadline, I will record a portion of your script (.mp3) and email it back to you. When your team approves of the demo, I will need the final draft of your script with any additional notes or directions you’d like me to keep in mind for the performance. At this point, let me know the file format you prefer for the final recording (.mp3, .wav or .aiff), how you would like me to save the audio file (single file, or multiple smaller files), and whether you’d like full production (EQ) or simply a dry voice over file.

At this point, I will request a deposit via an invoice. Once it is settled, I will put your order in the queue and start working on your project as soon as possible. You can let me record by myself, or you are welcome to call in to direct the session live (Source Connect, ISDN or Skype).

After recording, I will edit the sound file to remove mistakes, clean up noises, and reduce the amplitude of breaths, where necessary. I will normalize and/or EQ the audio files, per your request, and save files per your instructions.

Note that editing is an art in itself, and I take pride in the skills I have acquired over the years. You can be assured to receive crystal clear files that will sound stellar.

Once the voice recording is ready, I will email you an invoice, which includes a link to the audio files. This makes it easy for you to download large files to your computer quickly, and review the work.

The initial fee will generally include one free “pickup” recording session for small minor changes. In order to enjoy this perk, the pick up session must be scheduled within 10 business days of the initial voice file delivery.

For extensive changes, and particularly if you decide to rewrite the script or make substantial additions, I will base the fee according to standard industry rates.

I accept payments via credit card, via the secure accounting system I use for invoicing. Payments are requested upon reception of the audio.

Clients generally pay for my services on the same day or within 5 business days of delivery. A 50% deposit is requested for new clients. And voilà!
